Sarah Buxton is a mom! The singer-songwriter and her husband, musician Tom Bukovac, welcomed a son earlier this month.

"Tom and I are in love with our sweet baby boy, Marshall!," she tweeted Monday. "He came December 4th. My little Sagittarius."

This is the couple's first child. They were married on Nov. 20, 2010 in Nashville. Tom popped the question just before Christmas in 2009. "He totally surprised me!" Sarah told The Boot back when she was newly engaged. "He put it in an Advent calendar, where the candy goes, counting down to Christmas. I was so shocked when I found it, all I could do was just look at it and go, 'Oh my God! Oh my God!' And then I started crying."

Little Marshall Bukovac has some great musical genes. Mom Sarah has one of the most unique voices in country music, both as a singer and songwriter. In addition to her solo career, she is one half of the duo Buxton Hughes (with Jedd Hughes) and is an award-winning songwriter. She has penned several big hits for other stars, including Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy" and "Put You in a Song," and Big & Rich's "That's Why I Pray." Dad Tom is a lauded musician who has played on albums by Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood, just to name a few.

Congrats to the new parents!
