Rosanne Cash is less than a week away from releasing her highly-anticipated album, 'The River & the Thread,' and to celebrate, the songstress is hosting a live Twitter chat with her fans on Wednesday (Jan. 8).

Cash will answer questions from 3-4PM ET. To ask a question, find her on Twitter at @RosanneCash, and use the hashtag #AskRosanne.

The 58-year-old has also launched a podcast, where she will talk about each of the 11 songs on the album. Find the podcast here.

Cash, who co-wrote every song on the album along with her husband and producer, John Leventhal, says 'The River & the Thread' is the best project she has ever released.

“If I never make another album I will be content, because I made this one," she notes.

Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Rodney Crowell, Allison Moorer, Tony Joe White, the Civil Wars‘ John Paul White and Gabe Witcher from the Punch Brothers all appear on the new record. Through each of the tunes, the daughter of the Man in Black covers more than 150 years of American history, from the Civil War all the way to current times in Mobile, Ala.

'The River & the Thread' will be available on Jan. 14. Pre-order the album here.
