Ronnie Dunn has released his second album as a solo artist. 'Peace Love and Country Music' was released Tuesday (April 8) on his own Little Will-E Records, in partnership with e-commerce retailer Country Outfitter.

The former half of the award-winning duo Brooks & Dunn relied on his loyal fans to help him narrow down songs for the new record.

“I really wanted fans to have a say in which songs I put on this album,” he explains. “I put a few songs out on social media to see what people liked, or maybe what they didn’t respond to, and we built the album from there. Partnering with Country Outfitter just makes sense because they represent all aspects of the country lifestyle, and music is a huge part of that.”

Dunn, who released his self-titled solo album in 2011, says he is thinking outside the box with his latest project.

"We are going to make music available to you in different and unique ways," he vows. "Our goal is to create a MUSIC CULTURE, guided by a lifestyle philosophy. There are no rules.”

The 60-year-old co-produced 'Peace Love and Country Music' with veteran producer Jeff Balding. Dunn also wrote or co-wrote six of the 14 songs on the album.

Dunn will perform a song from the new record, 'Country This,' on 'The View' Wednesday (April 9).

'Peace Love and Country Music' is available in CD form from Country Outfitter, or at all digital retailers. Download a copy here.
