Ronnie Dunn took to the stage at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green, Ky., to raise funds for children's charities in the area at the Ronnie Dunn & Friends Holiday Bash Concert on Thursday, Nov. 14.

This is the second year that the country legend has hosted the event, and he was joined by relative country newcomers Brett Eldredge and Parmalee. The proceeds from the event will be donated to non-profits in the area with a focus on children's education and welfare, including the Boys & Girls Club.

Dunn was in the area on Sept. 30 to visit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Franklin-Simpson County and Glasgow-Barren County, the Center for Courageous Kids and a local United Way program. While at the centers, Dunn saw the daily activities of the organizations and spend time getting to know staff members and playing with the kids.

“The most memorable thing was meeting the kids and a lot of the recipients and people that are involved [behind the scenes],” Dunn says in a press release. “It has to mean something, or it’s not worth doing it. It’s for me as much as for anybody else.”

The Holiday Bash that accompanies the concert will be held at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on Dec. 6. More information about purchasing tickets or donating to the event's charity auction is available here.
