Jay Z's Roc Nation is expanding to Nashville. The entertainment company has opened an office in Music City, and is working with Warner / Chappell Music and songwriter-producer Jesse Frasure.

According to Billboard, Warner / Chappell -- Warner Music Group's publishing arm -- will be overseeing Roc Nation Nashville's music publishing endeavors, and together, the two companies have joined with Frasure to launch Rhythm House, which will include Frasure's production and songwriting work and look to sign and develop new producers and writers. Frasure, who is also a publisher and DJ, has worked with Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, the Cadillac Three and many more.

"I’m honored and grateful to begin this next chapter with partners like Roc Nation and Warner / Chappell, whom I’ve admired throughout my career," says Frasure in a press release (quote via the Tennessean).

Roc Nation was founded in 2008 in partnership with Live Nation. The company's new Nashville arm is its second major expansion in the last month: Roc Nation Latino was announced in early June. Roc Nation President Jay Brown calls Roc Nation Nashville a "natural extension of the relationship we started so many years ago" and says that Frasure's "talent, understanding of the craft and creativity are unmatched ... [He] has a passion and respect for artists and their artistry."

To coincide with Roc Nation Nashville's launch, WCM has promoted its senior director of A&R, BJ Hill, to vice president of A&R. Hill will work with both WCM and Rhythm House.
