Rich O’Toole Tour Diary, Week 5: A Homecoming in Syracuse, Sightseeing in Boston and D.C.
Texas country star Rich O’Toole, who has had 14 Top 10 hits at Texas radio, embarked on his national Jaded Tour on Oct. 9. He’ll visit more than 20 cities before the trek wraps up in Nashville in November, co-headlining some dates with the Novel Ideas and supporting Corey Smith and Joe Ely on select dates as well. Throughout the duration of his tour, O’Toole will be a guest blogger on The Boot, providing a weekly tour diary entry about life on the road with his band and crew.
We traveled through the night to get to the band's hometown of Syracuse, N.Y.! Our schedule showed a day off, so we booked a session at the nationally renowned More Sound Studios, to record a new demo track of our single 'Shell.'
We had a show in Syracuse the next night and stopped in at the Wolf 105.1 with our buddy Skip and 105.9 the Rebel with radio legend Dave Firsina to talk about the new album, 'Jaded,' followed by an unforgettable night with friends, family and fans!
After a rocking night in Central New York, we headed down to Brooklyn for a set at Hill Country BBQ, followed by two nights in Boston, where we took in the sites of Beantown before hitting a club downtown for a rowdy set with our pals the Novel Ideas and Francis Cloud!
After stopping for a quick lunch and posing for our annual holiday card, we cruised into our nation's capitol to rock downtown Washington, D.C., followed by a late night sightseeing tour!
We are on our way to Charlotte, N.C., to rock at the Tin Roof tonight. Stay tuned, follow us on Twitter @RichOToole, and we hope to see everyone out on the Jaded Tour!
