Reba McEntireRedheads Reba McEntire (who celebrated her 55th birthday Sunday, March 28) and Wynonna Judd are putting a little more red in the American Red Cross! The organization has announced that the country superstars are among eight new members to its National Celebrity Cabinet, a group now numbering more than 40 celebrity supporters who promote Red Cross services by donating time, helping neighbors prepare for emergencies, responding to disasters and lending a hand to those in need -- down the street and around the world.

"Whenever a natural disaster occurs, it is always the Red Cross that responds quickly and compassionately," says Reba. "I am honored to lend my voice to their cause, and thrilled to serve on the Celebrity Cabinet for 2010."

Wynonna Wynonna echoes that sentiment, saying, "As a long time supporter of the American Red Cross, I applaud their unyielding commitment to the human spirit during domestic and international crises and I am honored to serve as a Celebrity Cabinet member."

Among the other new cabinet members are actors Penn Badgley ('Gossip Girl'), Josh Duhamel and David Spade, along with actor musician LL Cool J, actress Alyssa Milano and Spanish-language TV personality Giselle Blondet.

According to a statement from the Red Cross, Wynonna has hosted numerous blood drives over the years and Reba has recorded public service announcements for radio on tornado and hurricane preparedness.

March is Red Cross Month, recognized through a presidential proclamation by President Barack Obama, encouraging people to become involved by donating blood, signing up for a CPR or first aid course, giving a financial gift or getting involved as a volunteer.
