Readers of The Boot have spoken loud and clear, naming Reba McEntire's newest record, Love Somebody, the Album of the Year winner in the 2015 Golden Boot Awards.

McEntire blasted through the competition by earning a whopping 69.86 percent of the votes in the category, beating out Jason Aldean's Old Boots, New Dirt, Kenny Chesney's The Big Revival, Sam Hunt's debut record Montevallo, Florida Georgia Line's Anything Goes and Miranda Lambert's Platinum.

Love Somebody is McEntire's 27th studio album; it dropped on April 14, on her new label, Nash Icon. It follows up her 2010 project, All the Women I Am, and was her 12th release to chart at No. 1.

Before the album came out, McEntire told fans on her website, “As you all know, I love looking for songs to record. I’ve said that many times. Getting to work again with Allison Jones over at Big Machine Label Group, my record label, was a blast! We listened to thousands of songs to find just the right ones for this album ..."

The massive amount of listening time definitely paid off. With songs like "Going Out Like That," a duet with Jennifer Nettles and more, the 12-track disc is obviously a fan favorite.

Lambert was the second-place Album of the Year nominee behind McEntire, garnering 13.82 percent of votes.
