Reba McEntire is getting ready to co-host the ACM Awards with good friend, Blake Shelton, this Sunday, April 3. While the 56-year-old superstar is a well-known fixture at several awards shows, including the Grammys and the CMAs, she says she loves the ACMs specifically because of their ideal location.

"I thoroughly love it," Reba tells GAC. "We're not in Nashville, we're not in Los Angeles, we're not in any place where anybody can go home after rehearsals and stuff. We're all in the hotel rooms, and so we get to visit a lot more when it's in Las Vegas and we enjoy it totally. So, stepping out on the stage and seeing your friends that you got to go eat dinner with the night before, it's just a very special evening."

Reba will not only co-host the ACMs, she's nominated for Top Female Vocalist. The ACM Awards air live from the MGM Grand on CBS, beginning at 8:00 PM ET.
