Reba McEntire gave a jaw-dropping performance during the 2015 ACM Awards. The 60-year-old ran through a series of her biggest hits, including "Is There Life Out There," "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" and "Fancy," before launching into her latest single, "Going Out Like That," from her recently released Love Somebody album.

Kelly Clarkson introduced McEntire, recalling that backstage, nine years ago, Clarkson called out, "I want to be you someday," before embarking on a friendship with the country legend that resulted in becoming family, when Clarkson married McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock.

Love Somebody is the first album released on the newly formed Nash Icon record label, which made McEntire its flagship artist. "Going Out Like That," was written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip and Jason Sellers.

“When you listen to thousands of songs trying to find just the right one to record, a really great song jumps out at you. That’s exactly what "Going Out Like That" did to me!” she explains. “It jumped out because it’s a great song with up-tempo sassyness (sic)!!!”

McEntire will have plenty of opportunities to perform the song when she heads to Las Vegas in June for her residency with Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas.

“It will be a production show, a country show packed with No. 1 hits," she reveals. "One of them will wear the red sparkling sequined dress. This is better than cake and ice cream!”

Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas kicks off on June 17 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets are available on the venue's website.
