Rascal Flatts are planning to open a restaurant and bar in Los Angeles, Calif., later this year. The location will be part of a chain of eateries from the country trio.

Rascal Flatts' LA-area restaurant and bar will be located in the high-traffic area of Hollywood & Highland, as reported by Eater Los Angeles. Construction is already underway on the corner location, which is located on the third floor of the complex; the construction wrap surrounding the area lists 2017 as the eatery's opening date, and notes that the restaurant and bar will serve beer and cocktails and "down home eats," and offer "good music."

Hollywood & Highland is already the location of a few other high-profile restaurants, including Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is close by too, with a new location inside Universal CityWalk.

In 2016, Cleveland.com reported that Rascal Flatts planned to open a 10,000-square-foot restaurant and bar in the city in 2016; however, again according to Eater Los Angeles, that location is running behind schedule. Another location in Arizona that was announced in 2012 has yet to open as well.

Rascal Flatts recently delighted fans by announcing the release of their 10th studio album. Back to Us will hit stores and streaming sites in mid-May; it will be the country trio’s first full-length studio offering since 2014’s Rewind.
