How do Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus relax after kicking off Flatts Fest with two sold-out shows in Virginia? The men of Rascal Flatts hit the links for a little golf, with opening act Justin Moore doubling as their fairway caddy.

"He's a great caddy," Gary confesses to GAC. "I mean, he's the greenhorn out there, and that's what opening acts have to do for Joe Don. It's a prerequisite. We put it in real fine writing at the bottom of the contract when he signed it. It said 'JD caddy' in there and Justin signed it. Welcome to a big headlining tour. It's just part of it. And Justin will be available at any golf course for autographs while Joe Don's golfing."

Justin joins Easton Corbin and Sara Evans as opening acts on the fan-oriented extravaganza. The 'I Wont Let Go' singers admit they drew inspiration for their current headlining tour after a stint on Brooks & Dunn's Neon Circus tour.

"It was such a cool concept to have that Neon Circus atmosphere, with things for everybody to do with their families, and we wanted to expand on that a little bit," Jay tells The Boot. "We sat down last year at the end of our tour and talked about different things we could do to make our tour a bigger event. We're excited; we've never done anything like this before. Plus there are a lot of cool acts out with us, and I'm excited to see who wins the karaoke contest every night."

While the guys anticipate keeping their road momentum high, the talented trio also hope to continue their string of No. 1 songs at country radio with the new single 'Easy,' a duet with pop singer Natasha Bedingfield. The song is the follow-up to their chart toppers 'Why Wait' and 'I Won't Let Go,' and is the third single from their 'Nothing Like This' album.
