"You can put the record on if you just want to hear all the songs. But if you want to go to a show and be entertained, you need to put more effort into it and we certainly have prided ourselves in doing that over the years," Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus told The Boot earlier this year. That hands-on philosophy has helped catapult the superstar trio's concert sales to more than seven million tickets sold!

Friday night (Oct. 19) in the trio's adopted hometown of Nashville, Jay and bandmates Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney were presented with a commemorative ticket honoring the milestone. Brian O'Connell, President of Live Nation Country Touring (pictured above, left), surprised Rascal Flatts with the giant ticket just before the musicians played for a sold-out crowd of 13,000 at Music City's Bridgestone Arena.

The Flatts guys have been headlining their own shows since 2004 and are consistently ranked among the top tours in all genres of music. Their hot streak continues on the Changed tour, which hits Atlanta tonight (Oct. 20), followed by stops in Tampa, Fla., on Oct. 26, and West Palm Beach, Fla., on Oct. 27. They'll take a break for the holidays before starting the tour back up in January, featuring special guests, the Band Perry. See a full list of cities and dates on Rascal Flatts' tour here.
