Rascal Flatts have spent their entire decade-long career bringing joy to fans around the world through their music. In fact, Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus use the universal healing touch of music far beyond concerts, albums and radio to reach very special audiences sometimes, including children at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

For four years running, Rascal Flatts have hosted a very special concert evening called 'Behind the Music,' sharing their songs with an intimate, invitation-only audience to raise funds for the hospital. For the first time ever, the guys have decided they will make 100 tickets for the show available to fans. On Friday, October 1, 100 tickets will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis for the November 4 event in Nashville. The band is hoping to add substantially to the nearly $3 million they have been able to raise for the hospital during the past several years.

It seems only natural that Rascal Flatts are extending their generosity to include fans for this exciting, special show. They received the Make-a-Wish Foundation's Shining Star Award in 2008 for working with seriously ill children to help them make their dreams come true. That same year, they were awarded the Academy of Country Music/Home Depot Humanitarian prize for their efforts to improve the lives of people within their reach.

For this year's 'Behind the Music' fundraising event, hosted by emcee Ron White, lucky attendees will soak up a beautiful fall atmosphere with plenty of music and food. There will also be opportunities to bid on auction items available only that night. A few of those include:

· A personalized studio experience with Jay DeMarcus, who has extensive experience behind the board as well as at the microphone

· A golf outing with Joe Don Rooney for three players on an extraordinary world-class course

· A hunting trip with Gary LeVox and Outdoor Channel's 'The Crush' TV hosts Lee and Tiffany Lakosky

To purchase tickets beginning Friday, October 1, click here. They'll be gone quickly, so as the guys themselves might say, 'Why Wait'?

Rascal Flatts will be on the road through October 9 in anticipation of their upcoming album, 'Nothing Like This,' due in stores November 16.
