Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift did the honors of announcing nominations for the 2008 CMA Awards this morning, live on ABC's 'Good Morning America.' Not surprisingly, their own names were called. Rascal Flatts is up for Vocal Group of the Year, a title they've taken home the past five years in a row. Swift is up for Female Vocalist of the Year, her first time nominated in the coveted category.

"I can't believe it. I'm so excited," Swift exclaimed after hearing her name. "I got to win the Horizon Award last year, and that was a shock. So to be nominated in this category this year ... it's just a really good day!"

The 2008 CMA Awards will air live on ABC on Wednesday, November 12. See the list of nominees, after the jump.
