The Country Music Association has created a digital get well card for ailing singer Randy Travis. The e-card offers fans from all over the world the chance to express their personal well wishes directly to the country superstar.

Travis was  hospitalized on July 7, suffering from viral cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. He suffered a subsequent stroke and had to undergo emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

According to the latest update from his doctors, Travis' heart muscles have suffered scarring, and he will require long-term medication for what is now a chronic condition. The singer is also facing weeks of hospitalization before being transferred to an in-patient facility, where he will undergo intensive physical therapy. Doctors say it will take months for him to recover from his stroke.

More than 10,000 fans have signed Travis' card since it was posted online. The card will be available for signatures until August 1 at 12PM CT. After that, the CMA will close the card and deliver it to the singer. In addition to writing a message, fans can post a photo and an electronic signature.
