The Randy Rogers Band has canceled an upcoming concert due to the death of Randy Rogers' newborn daughter Rumer.

On Wednesday evening (June 10), the band posted a note on their Facebook and Twitter pages to let fans know that their show scheduled for Friday night (June 12) at the Lumberyard in Roscoe, Texas, had been canceled "in light of the recent news in the RRB camp" and "out of respect for the Rogers family."

"We are working on a make-up date to come back as quickly as possible," they continue on Facebook. "Thanks in advance for all your understanding during this difficult time."

The band has a full tour calendar in the coming weeks, including a concert scheduled for Saturday night (June 13) in Laredo, Texas, and a stop at Country Jam 2015, which takes place in Grand Junction, Colo., on June 18-21. So far, however, no other shows have been canceled.

Rumer Rain Rogers was born on June 3 at 7:29AM, weighing 7 lbs. and 13 oz., and measuring 20 inches long. She passed away "after a week-long battle with a very rare condition," according to a statement, on Tuesday night (June 9).

"Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth," another statement explains. "During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children's charity of their choosing. The family thanks you for your love and support."

Rumer was the second child for Rogers and wife Chelsea. River Rose, their first daughter, was born in 2013.
