Randy Houser gave another military family a night to remember. The singer, who is serving as the opening act on Luke Bryan's That's My Kind of Night Tour, surprised James Jackson and his family with a special meet and greet and $1,000 in groceries prior to a Feb. 10 concert in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The special night was part of Eckrich's Operation Inspiration initiative, their partnership with Operation Homefront, which provides emergency assistance to families of service members and wounded warriors. It's a cause the "Like a Cowboy" singer says he is proud to support.

"Any time I can spend some of my time with a military family is special for me,” Houser says. “These families have sacrificed so much so I can go out and perform and do what I love. It was great to meet the Jackson family, hear their story and have them enjoy the concert courtesy of my partner Eckrich.”

This isn't the first time Houser has surprised a military family at a concert. In November, Houser gave another family a year's worth of free groceries and a VIP trip to Tucson, Ariz.

Houser hopes to release a new set of tunes later this year. He will rejoin Bryan for his Kick the Dust Up Tour, which begins in May, as well as perform several solo shows. Keep track of his schedule here.
