Randy Houser is officially off the market! The 'Anything Goes' singer proposed to his longtime girlfriend, songwriter Jessa Lee Yantz, and she happily said yes.

"I finally found the person that I can't be without," Randy tells People. "Jessa makes me a better person every day, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her."

The news broke last week, when Jessa's sister Alicia, tweeted congratulations to the country star, creating a fan frenzy on Randy's Twitter page, and causing the 34-year-old to come clean.

"I had no idea anyone would care that I'm engaged," he jokes. "But I want to thank everyone for their outreach and support regarding the news of our engagement."

The couple are planning an intimate ceremony in the Dominican Republic. Randy will have to juggle wedding plans with working on his upcoming album. The Mississippi native credits the debut single from the upcoming CD, 'In God's Time,' with helping him find perspective in his own life.

"Fan feedback has been awesome," he tells The Boot. "It's been a big part of settling me down. That song came at a time where I kinda got slapped upside the head and realized I've gotta straighten some things out. It's been really cool. The stories that I get from people ... It's not like putting another 'Boots On' song out. This one, I get stories that it's changed people's lives. That's what we make music for. It's not about making money."

The newly-engaged singer is enjoying some time off, after wrapping up several weeks touring with Willie Nelson on his Country Throwdown tour.
