Randy Houser has been taking plenty of notes while serving as the opener on Luke Bryan's 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, and as he prepares to launch his own 2015 We Went Tour, the singer says that he feels ready to be in the driver's seat.

"I’m really, really excited about that," Houser tells The Boot. "It’s something that we’ve been aiming for for several years. We’re finally in the position to go out and headline our own tour."

Not only is Houser psyched to be headlining his own trek, but he is also thrilled to have Frankie Ballard and Craig Campbell -- "two buddies of mine," he calls them -- along for the ride as his opening acts.

"I couldn’t have done better, as far as support acts, as far as I’m concerned," Houser continues. "Two incredibly talented guys. That’s really important to me. They’re both really great songwriters, musicians and singers. All those things, and I have a ton of respect for both of them. I couldn’t be in a better position for my first tour, than to have two guys like that."

Still, the "We Went" singer remains grateful for the time that he has spent on Bryan's tour.

“We’ve had a blast touring with Luke this summer, and it’s been an incredible opportunity to play to some people we might not have played to before,” Houser says. “We’re really looking forward to building our show this fall, playing the arenas and getting to play some new music.”

Houser's 2015 We Went Tour will kick off on Nov. 20 in Corbin, Ky. A list of all of his upcoming dates is available on his website.
