RaeLynn has released her first song with Warner Music Nashville, "Love Triangle." The song is a change of pace from the singer's generally upbeat fare -- but it comes from an especially personal place.

RaeLynn used "Love Triangle" as a way to express her feelings about her parents putting her in the middle during and after their divorce. One day, before heading out to a songwriting session, she'd received numerous texts from her parents -- but instead of letting the drama get the best of her, she used it as material.

“I knew they were arguing about something, and I was really upset, and I almost didn’t go to my writing session that day, but something told me to go,” RaeLynn recalls, “and I’m so glad that I did, because I wouldn’t have written this song.”

The more serious track showcases RaeLynn's perfectly country voice well. Readers can press play below to hear her perform the song live.

Prior to signing with Warner Music Nashville, RaeLynn was with Big Machine Label Group’s Valory Music Co. She released a five-song EP, Me, and two singles with the label before parting ways earlier this year. RaeLynn signed with Warner in June.

“We couldn’t be one iota happier to have RaeLynn join the Warner Bros. family,” Warner Music Nashville Chairman and CEO John Esposito says. “There is a magic about this gal that when she walks in the room, you know she’s special. Let’s never forget that it is those people with the fairy dust who have been sprinkled on them, that’s who we want to be involved with in our lives because they can change other people’s lives.”
