RaeLynn Shares Sweet Details of Her Engagement Scavenger Hunt

RaeLynn recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Josh Davis, and the 21-year-old singer is eager to share all the details.

On Oct. 12, Davis led RaeLynn on a scavenger hunt of places that are important to them as a couple before popping the question at Nashville's Belmont University, where the two shared their first kiss.

"He told me we were going on a business dinner with him and his boss. He told me to get super dressed up and wear something I like," she explains to The Boot. "I should have taken that as a clue, but I didn’t, because I’m blond.

"I went downstairs, and he had clue one waiting there. I walked outside to find that my best friend was sitting in the front seat of my car, and she was like, ‘Get in. We’re going on a scavenger hunt,'" RaeLynn continues. "And then I started crying, because I knew what was about to happen."

"... It was so sweet," she adds. "Josh is my best friend. He makes me better. He's so supportive."

The singer and Davis first met three years ago, at church, but it took some time for them to realize that they wanted to be together.

"We went to this wedding, our friend’s wedding, a couple weeks later and kind of hit it off. We dated for a little bit, and then we didn’t know," RaeLynn recalls. "We knew we really liked each other, but we weren’t sure about it, so we were just friends for about a year, and then we realized we really loved each other."

RaeLynn had to start her wedding planning on the road: The Season 2 The Voice contestant just wrapped up her time as an opening act on Miranda Lambert's 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour.

"I still don’t get used to girls crying or people crying, because I’m just a normal person. Don't cry!" she says of the fans who came out to meet her. "But I always remember, the first time I met Miranda, I almost cried. And so I always think of that. But that part I haven’t gotten used to yet."
