No one can say Phillip Sweet isn't a tough guy. The Little Big Town member played the 2015 ACM Awards with a broken hand -- and he didn't even know it.

Sweet broke a bone in his right hand while he was at home packing for the ACM Awards. He hit his hand on a wooden door, but he didn't realize at the time how badly he'd hurt himself.

"I've never had a broken bone in my whole life," Sweet tells ABC News Radio, "so I didn't know what it felt like."

Fortunately, Sweet will only have to wear a brace on his broken hand when he's not performing. He can still play the guitar, and the injury won't require surgery.

"All will be well," he says.

That's also good news because Little Big Town have plenty of tour dates on the calendar, including a stop at the iHeartRadio Country Festival in May. A complete list of their upcoming dates is available on their website.

Little Big Town had a busy night at the 2015 ACM Awards. In addition to performing their newest single, "Girl Crush" -- which was the most Shazamed moment of the entire awards show broadcast -- the country quartet was crowned Vocal Group of the Year. Thanks to their performance, "Girl Crush" notched 2015′s best single week of sales for a country song in the days just before and after the awards show.
