Last Halloween, Pam Tillis made our countdown of Best Costumes in Country Music Videos with her classic "Cleopatra" clip, which had an outrageous wardrobe. With Halloween 2012 almost upon us, the country icon has dusted off her costume box again, this time recruiting friends, family and local students to play dress up with her -- and to help her sing a toe-tapping Halloween tune, "The Monster and the Banjo."

"I've known about this song for a long time. It's written by attorney and songwriter Henry Hipkens," Pam tells The Boot. "I was going through my music library the other day and it hit me while listening to this tune that it would be a fun home movie to make for Halloween.

"It's all friends and family. My mother-in-law played Granny, although she's way prettier than she comes off here. I was surprised at how easy it was to get Zombies! The kids are really picking, and their talent is awesome. My friend Kim Fox mentors a lot of these kids and a few of them are students of my fiddle player, Megan Lynch. We shot at my friend Linda Stowe's house in the beautiful woods outside of Nashville. It was a gloomy day, which was perfect. I'm proud of the zombies but I'm especially proud of our young musicians!"
