Old Dominion have earned their first No. 1 hit with "Break Up With Him."

The song has now spent two weeks in the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and has also reached No. 1 on the Country Aircheck chart. When "Break Up With Him" first came out 40 weeks ago, it made a splash by becoming the most-added song at country radio. The tune is the first that the band has written together for themselves.

"It's gonna take a while for this one to set in,” says band member Trevor Rosen. “We've been lucky enough to have other No. 1 songs as the songwriter for other artists, but to have one as an artist ourselves is something we've dreamt about since we were kids."

Although Old Dominion are now earning their first No. 1 song as a band, the guys that make up the group are no strangers to hits: Separately, lead singer Matthew Ramsey, guitarist / keyboard player Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, bassist Geoff Sprung and guitarist Brad Tursi have written hits for some pretty big names in country music. A few of the group’s most notable tunes by other artists include “Sangria” by Blake Shelton, “Say You Do” by Dierks Bentley and “Better Dig Two” by the Band Perry.

“Break Up With Him” is available for download on iTunes, and Old Dominion's first full-length album, Meat and Candy, is available via Amazon. A list of all of Old Dominion’s upcoming shows can be found on their website.
