Willie Nelson and Lucinda Williams are just two of the artists who will participate in an album that will benefit the Occupy Wall Street group.

The CD, titled 'Occupy This Album: A Compilation of Music by, for and Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the 99%,' will also feature Crosby & Nash, Yoko Ono, Jackson Browne, Third Eye Blind and Loudon Wainwright III, along with others who champion the cause.

Willie has long been known to speak out for political and humanitarian causes. His ongoing Farm Aid concerts have supported American farmers for the past 26 years, helping to raise awareness of the problems family farmers face on a daily basis. For his efforts, Willie has been inducted into the Agricultural Hall of Fame.

The singer has also been dedicated to supporting the cause of wild and domestic horses. He recorded the Rolling Stones classic 'Wild Horses' and donated proceeds to the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) for its campaign to keep these animals on public lands in the American West.

The new album is the first major benefit by celebrities in support of the Occupy Wall Street Movement. The CD will be released this spring. All proceeds will go directly to the Occupy Movement, which has spread beyond Wall Street to more than 25 cities across the country.
