The Oak Ridge Boys were delayed while traveling between shows in Branson, Mo., and the 7 Clans Paradise Casino in Red Rock.

They Boys were left stranded on U.S. 60 on the road when the tread came off of one of the front tires of their tour bus. Ironically, the incident occurred in front of the Oak Ridge Acres subdivision in Pawhuska.

"That's the first time we've had that happen to a front tire," says Duane "Ace" Allen, the group's lead singer [quote via Tulsa World].

The bus reduced highway traffic to one lane, and the Boys waited on the side of the highway -- some in pajama bottoms and t-shirts -- until a large purple tow truck called the Great Ape came to help them out.

After a 90-minute wait, the Boys were on their way to that night's show in Red Rock.
