It's not every day you get to hang out with Loretta Lynn -- let alone sing with her, in her living room. Americana singer-songwriter Nikki Lane recently had such an opportunity, though, for a segment on CBS This Morning.

Readers can press play above to watch Lane and Lynn duet, accompanied by Lane's band on "Don't Come Home a'Drinkin (With Lovin' on Your Mind)," Lynn's first No. 1 hit. The song is the title track of Lynn's seventh studio album and was written by the country icon and her sister Peggy Sue. The tune held the top spot on the charts for two consecutive weeks, while the record became the first by a female artist to be certified gold.

Lane and Lynn's performance aired on CBS on Saturday (April 29). The performance, as well as performances by Lane of her songs "Jackpot" and "Send the Sun," was filmed at Lynn's Hurricane Mills, Tenn., ranch. The two first met over Memorial Day Weekend in 2016.

"I felt like we always knew each other," Lynn tells CBS' Anthony Mason. "I don't know, we mighta met in another lifetime!"

Lane released her third album, Highway Queen, in February. Lynn, meanwhile, will release a new album, Wouldn't It Be Great, in August.
