Country music stars are about to descend on New York City. The city's first-ever country music festival, FarmBorough, will take place in the Big Apple next year, with several big stars already confirmed to appear.

The event, scheduled to be held on Randall's Island June 26-28, will be headlined by Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley. Other artists slated to appear include Wade Bowen, Brandy Clark, Maddie and Tae, Kip Moore, Ashley Monroe, Randy Houser, the Cadillac Three and Dwight Yoakam, with more expected to be announced shortly.

FarmBorough is a joint venture between Live Nation Entertainment and Founders Entertainment.

“We've been dreaming about bringing a country festival to New York for a long time, and we feel like the time is right now.  We have the perfect partner in Founders and the perfect location on Randall's Island to really bring fans and artists something special,"  Brian O'Connell, Live Nation's president of country touring, says. “New York City is a global destination. Country fans from all over the world can come to the city and take advantage of all it has to offer while enjoying three days of the best country music acts too."

Adds Jordan Wolowitz, co-founder and partner at Founders Entertainment, "We're thrilled to bring our hometown of New York City its first-ever country music festival.  This has been many years in the making, and we couldn't be more excited to launch FarmBorough in June. Brian O'Connell and his team at Live Nation are the ideal partners for this venture, and together we form a festival dream team.  With Governors Ball, and now FarmBorough, New York City is host to premier, world-class music festivals."

In addition to plenty of music, guests will also have the opportunity to upgrade their tickets to enjoy access to the Skyline Lounge, featuring skyline views, private bars and more.

FarmBorough will be held on Randall's Island. Tickets, which begin at $225 for a three-day pass, will go on sale on Nov. 6 and will be available for purchase here.
