Neil Young has announced a second leg of his Rebel Content Tour with Promise of the Real, to promote their protest album, The Monsanto Years.

The new tour dates are set to kick off on Oct. 1 in Missoula, Mont. and continue through Oct. 17 in Berkley, Calif. Throughout their two weeks on the road, the group will hit venues in Montana, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California and British Columbia, Canada.

Each Rebel Content Tour stop will include 2-3 hours of musical performances, featuring songs from The Monsanto Years and from Young's extensive solo career, as well as Neil's Village, which includes tents meant to engage fans in various issues surrounding sustainability and political action, including energy and climate, the future of farming, Earth ecology, the Ban GMO movement and more.

Young and Promise of the Real -- made up of Willie Nelson's sons, Lukas and Micah Nelson, and bandmates Anthony Logerfo, Corey McCormick and Tato Melgar -- teamed up on The Monsanto Years to create a project protesting the agrochemical company Monsanto, which produces food additives and genetically modified organisms, or GMOs.

“I don’t really have anything against the human beings working at Monsanto,” Young says. "But Monsanto is the poster child for the problems we’re having with the corporate government.”
