Taylor Swift is not only one of the richest celebrities, she is also one of the most giving. The 23-year-old topped DoSomething.org's list of most-charitable celebrities, thanks to the multiple donations she's given to worthwhile causes in the past year.

The songstress gave $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame, as part of the iconic landmark's $75 million expansion project. Taylor's gift will go towards a new wing, named the Taylor Swift Education Center, which will include classrooms and an exhibit space geared especially towards children.

In addition to the multi-million dollar Hall of Fame offering, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer also gave 14,000 books to the Nashville Public library, as well as channeled all the proceeds from her song, "Ronan," to cancer-related charities.

This isn't the first time Taylor was acknowledged for her goodwill. The Pennsylvania native was the recipient of the Big Help Award, presented to her by First Lady Michelle Obama, at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. She also became the youngest person to receive the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center, in honor of her commitment to social change.

Miley Cyrus
claims the No. 2 spot on DoSomething.org's list, thanks in part to her support of the non-profit Saving Spot!, which helps save dogs from being euthanized in shelters. Movie star Channing Tatum came in at No. 3, with Lady Gaga taking the No. 4 spot and Justin Bieber rounding out the Top 5.

Taylor will kick off her Red tour on March 13 in Omaha, Neb., with Ed Sheeran serving as her opening act. See a list of cities and dates on the upcoming trek here.
