Fall means cooler weather, football, a new school year — and, in September of 2015, six brand-new country albums to look forward to. Everyone from country legends and a classic rocker to rising stars and a revered songwriter and producer will be releasing new music next month, but only one can be named The Boot's September 2015 Album of the Month.

September's first new country releases come on Sept. 11. That's the date that Jewel will debut Picking Up the Pieces, a live-recorded disc that will be her first non-holiday new music in five years, and Brett Eldredge will share Illinois, his highly anticipated sophomore album.

The following Friday (Sept. 18) will bring new albums from legendary country band Alabama — Southern Drawl will be Randy OwenTeddy Gentry and Jeff Cook's first completely new project since 2001′s When It All Goes South — and songwriter, studio musician and producer Mac McAnally (A.K.A. Nobody).

On Sept. 25, Thomas Rhett's funky sophomore project, Tangled Up, will hit the streets, as will Cass County, Don Henley's new country solo album that will contain collaborations between the founding member of the Eagles and Merle HaggardAlison KraussMiranda LambertMartina McBrideAshley MonroeDolly PartonLucinda Williams and Trisha Yearwood, among others.

Which of these new records will earn the title of The Boot's September 2015 Album of the Month? The project with the most votes at the end of the month will be named The Boot's Album of the Month for September 2015.
