Montgomery Gentry fans can now enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal and walk away with the duo's latest CD as well. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry have partnered with the South Carolina-based company, Buffets, Inc., which owns several nationwide buffet restaurants, including Ryan's and Old Country Buffet, to sell their Rebels on the Run album, with proceeds benefiting the Armed Services YMCA. Proceeds from CD sales will help fund camps and other initiatives for children of deployed military personnel, through the Operation Outdoors program.

"We have a history of appreciation for and support of the military, and are proud to be a part of an initiative that allows our music to help such a great cause," Troy tells Billboard.biz (quote via ASYMCA.org).

For the restaurant chain, using the award-winning pair was an easy decision.

"We really wanted to try to find some ways to connect with our customer base and there's a significant crossover between who our customers are and people who listen to country music," says Buffets, Inc. Chief Marketing Officer Jason Abelkop. "As we looked at artists, Montgomery Gentry is obviously very popular, but in addition to that they have a long-standing commitment and support for the military. We were trying to find a way to engage our consumers and show support for the military."

Montgomery Gentry released Rebels on the Run on the new record label, Average Joe's Entertainment, last October, and they have the full support of the label head, Tom Baldrica, as the CD goes to the more than 350 restaurants all over the country.

"Military charities are so important to Montgomery Gentry," says Baldrica. "And Buffets, Inc. is a real food, real value, real blue collar sort of thing and that's exactly what Montgomery Gentry is ... It's about that opportunity to expose the music and the artist. All these opportunities are good for all of us in the music industry."

This is not the pair's first foray into selling music in a restaurant. They also offered their 2009 album, For Our Heroes, in Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, with a portion of those proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

The "Where I Come From" singers will spend much of the summer on the road, including a show in Cancun, Mexico, later this week. See their tour schedule here.

Rebels on the Run will be available in all of the Buffets, Inc. restaurants beginning July 5. See the complete list of locations here.
