Miranda LambertLocal charities in Tishomingo, Okla. are $70,000 richer today, thanks to Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and several of their friends. Miranda's MuttNation Foundation hosted a special concert in Tishomingo over the weekend, to benefit special causes including the Tishomingo Animal Shelter and local Veterans' programs.

According to Music Row magazine, Miranda and Blake, along with Blake's cousin Clancy Davis, treated the crowd to a special acoustic set. Guests also enjoyed a cocktail party, dinner and live and silent auctions ... all of which raised $70,000 to be divided amongst the charities.

Miranda's new dog, Delilah, is no doubt one reason Miranda is so passionate about animal rights. (The pup was also the inspiration behind the new song, 'Delilah,' from boyfriend Blake's 'Hillbilly Bone' album!) Miranda's third annual Cause for Paws benefit in Tyler, Texas will be held on May 15. All of its proceeds will go to The Humane Society of East Texas, which has become a no-kill sanctuary since the fundraiser began three years ago. Special guests will include country band Whiskey Myers, country singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves and GAC's Nan Kelley.
