Miranda Lambert has announced the date and details of her MuttNation Foundation's 2015 Cause for the Paws benefit.

The 8th annual event, dubbed Cause for the Paws: Back to Basics, will be held on Sept. 18 and 19 in Luckenbach, Texas. Jessi AlexanderJon Randall and Radney Foster will join Lambert for an acoustic concert on the 19th.

“A lot goes into an event like this,” says Bev Lambert, MuttNation Foundation's co-founder (and the singer's mother), in a statement, “but nothing makes Miranda and I more happy and fulfilled than seeing a rescue dog in the arms of a loving family. That’s what MuttNation is all about.”

The weekend will also include a silent auction, food, drinks and much more. All proceeds from Cause for the Paws benefit the MuttNation Foundation, which works to end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness throughout the U.S.

“I feel so blessed to be able to continue the work of MuttNation Foundation in aiding and assisting animals in need,” Miranda Lambert says. “Aside from music, this is my biggest passion in life, and I find it so rewarding to help end animal suffering and homelessness.”

Last year's Cause for the Paws event, held in Las Vegas, raised more than $600,000; to date, the MuttNation Foundation has raised more than $2 million. Earlier this year, the non-profit organization launched its second annual Mutts Across America: 50 States / 50 Shelters initiative, with overwhelming results: A total of $206,000 was raised, to be distributed to shelters all over the country, with at least $3,000 going to each shelter.

“I feel so passionately about helping all animals, and I’m thrilled that we have once again been able to give to phenomenal shelters all across the country,” Lambert explains. “The people at these shelters do such amazing work day in and day out and are truly heroes for the animals.”

Tickets for the 8th annual Cause for the Paws event are available now. A limited number of VIP packages, with incentives including a wine tasting, a barn dance with Gwen Sebastian, open bar, a champagne brunch and an opportunity to meet Lambert, are also available.
