Miranda Lambert is scheduled to perform on 'The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night' on December 1, but first she's looking forward to the holidays. The singer says it's been such an eventful year for her and fiancé Blake Shelton that they have not really had the opportunity to let all the great things that have happened to them this year really sink in.

"It's been a whirlwind for both of us this year, so we're looking forward to the holidays," Miranda explains, "when we can sit and look at each other and go 'Holy crap, we got engaged, our careers took off, Blake won Male Vocalist of the Year at the CMA awards, for which he has been so long deserving. Seeing his face and what it meant to him was touching to me. And I won my first CMA award which was a hell of a birthday present."

Miranda turned 27 on the same day as the CMA Awards November 11, where she took home Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for 'Revolution' and Video of the Year for 'The House That Built Me.'

"It really was an awesome way to spend my birthday," the singer continues. "My friends, Kellie Pickler and Loretta Lynn, handed me my awards, and it meant so much to me that Lady Antebellum couldn't get to me fast enough to hug my neck. Country music is great."

Heading into the CMAs, Miranda says she was very diligent about working out. She's going to take a short break from her diet to indulge in one of her favorite foods, pizza, before getting back into it for the Grammy concert. She admits that the change is one that she is determined to follow, however.

"I'm entering my late 20s and getting married, so I started thinking maybe I should start making exercising and eating healthier a lifestyle. I've enjoyed it; it's helped me to clear my head and learn what it is to focus on something. Fitness is not my favorite thing at all, but it's been worth it and it feels good to get onstage and feel confident."

Miranda joins pop star Justin Bieber, rapper B.o.B, and singer/songwriters Bruno Mars and Katy Perry as performers for the Grammy show. LL Cool J will host the one-hour special, which will air from Club Nokia in Los Angeles on CBS at 10:00 PM ET December 1.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13, 2011.
