Miranda Lambert Goes Live in Grammy Nominations Special
Miranda Lambert joins teen pop singer Justin Bieber and rapper B.o.B., along with Bruno Mars and Katy Perry as the first performers announced for 'The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown to Music's Biggest Night.' LL Cool J will host the live one-hour special, Wednesday, December 1, at Club NOKIA in Los Angeles, beginning at 10:00 PM (ET) on CBS.
'The Grammy Nominations Live' concert is presented in anticipation of the Grammy Awards ceremony early next year. Once again, the live event will feature one of country music's hottest acts (and a presumed Grammy nominee) among the performers for the televised special. Last year, Sugarland were featured on the special, while Taylor Swift appeared in -- and co-hosted -- the first special with LL Cool JJ in 2008. Miranda Lambert has received Grammy nominations in the past three consecutive years. She has yet to take a Grammy home, however.
The Grammy ceremony is set to air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, beginning at 8:00 PM (ET) on CBS. For updates and breaking news, check out the Recording Academy's social networks on Twitter and Facebook.
The Boot will, as always, feature full coverage of the Grammy nominations and the star-studded awards ceremony.
