Miranda Lambert has once again let her stage show go to the dogs ... and cats. The country superstar headlined her 5th annual Cause for the Paws event last month, bringing in more than $207,000 for her own MuttNation Foundation. MuttNation raises money for organizations and governmental institutions whose purpose is to help stray animals by building animal shelters, increasing pet adoption, providing spay/neuter programs, encouraging responsible pet parenting, rehabilitating sick animals and reducing euthanasia of healthy animals. Some beneficiaries also include organizations that train shelter dogs for human therapy programs, such as those that help wounded military personnel.

Wade Bowen and the Josh Abbott Band were the opening acts at Ford Park in Beaumont, Texas, for the June 22 event. The concert and live auction pushed MuttNation's total money raised just this year to more than $236,000.

Animal lover Miranda is mom to a farm full of furry friends, including horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens and several dogs she has rescued herself: Black Betty, Cher, Delilha, Delta, Jessi, Virginia Bluebell and Waylon. Several of Miranda's dogs served as "bridesmaids" in her wedding to Blake Shelton last year.
