Miranda Lambert is an award-winning singer, who happens to also own a clothing store, the Pink Pistol, run a pet charity, the Muttnation Foundation, and be married to country music's reigning male superstar, Blake Shelton. But if all that wasn't enough to keep her busy, the songstress is opening a bed and breakfast, the Ladysmith, in her hometown.

“I bought the building across the street from the Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma,” she explains (quote via the Country Vibe).  “It was built in 1901, so it’s been over a year of renovations. It is a bed and breakfast but it’s also an events center, so you can rent it for weddings and showers and private parties and all kinds of stuff. But it does have eight rooms.”

While the 'Somethin' Bad' singer is the proprietor of the business, she admits she will need plenty of help to get Ladysmith up and running.

“I have no idea what I’m doing," Lambert concedes. "I don’t know how to run a bed and breakfast or anything about it. But it’s too beautiful of a building not to restore.”

Lambert hopes to have the bed and breakfast operating by this summer, but she says she's not ready to commit to an opening date just yet.

“I’m not setting a date because I don’t want to set myself up for failure, but it’s really beautiful and I think it’s going to be so much fun for people," she adds.

Lambert will have a lot to juggle if she plans to open the Ladysmith this summer. She will kick off her 30-city Platinum Tour on July 10, with Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett serving as her opening acts.
