During Miranda Lambert's headlining show at the 2016 Country to Country Music Festival in London, England, the country star was sure to let the audience know that even though she was thousands of miles away from home, she had a friend with her. Lambert brought Ashley Monroe to the stage near the end of her Friday night (March 11) concert to duet on James Taylor's "You've Got a Friend."

"I just can't say thank you enough for being so warm and loving to us ...," Lambert told the crowd after Monroe walked out. "We’ve shopped a lot and drank a lot and played some music, so we’ll be back sometime soon."

Accompanied by Scotty Wray on acoustic guitar, Lambert took the lead on the first half of each of the song's verses, with Monroe stepping in for the second halves. The two harmonized with each other during the choruses, earning a great reaction from the audience. Press play above to watch the performance.

Monroe, too, performed at C2C, which also took place in Dublin, Ireland, and Glasgow, Scotland, but the two artists also spent plenty of time sightseeing, which Monroe documented on Instagram.

Lambert and Monroe have shared the stage plenty of times before. In November, Lambert showed up at a club show Monroe was playing in Nashville, and in July, Monroe stopped by one of Lambert's small Music City gigs.

Additionally, Monroe and Angaleena Presley joined Lambert as surprise special guests at a few of Lambert’s 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour stops. Together, the three country ladies are known as the Pistol Annies, and Monroe hints that a full-fledged reunion of the trio isn’t far off.

“We’ve been missing each other a lot,” Monroe says. “We recently went on a run with Miranda, and we all had chills every night walking up onstage. We have a lot of song ideas going. I feel like it’s soon.”
