When Ashley Monroe is playing in Nashville, Miranda Lambert can't stay away. On Friday night (Nov. 20), for the second time in the past few months, Lambert surprised the crowd at one of Monroe's Music City shows.

“I just released a record this year called The Blade, and I’m gonna do that song, and I’m gonna have the special guest vocalist that sang on that song on the record with me sing it, for the first time live, really, ever," Monroe told her audience. "So … here’s little Miss Miranda Lambert!”

Back in July, at Monroe's The Blade album release party, Lambert made a surprise appearance to perform "Heart Like Mine," which she and Monroe wrote together, along with Travis Howard, for Lambert’s 2009 Revolution album.

Lambert and Monroe have been spotted on stage together quite a bit in the last few months: Monroe, along with Angaleena Presley, joined Lambert as a surprise special guest at a few of Lambert’s 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour stops ... and Monroe hints that a full-fledged reunion of the three country ladies, together known as the Pistol Annies, isn't far off.

“We’ve been missing each other a lot,” Monroe says. “We recently went on a run with Miranda, and we all had chills every night walking up onstage. We have a lot of song ideas going. I feel like it’s soon.”
