Miranda Lambert Wins CMT Award for Performance of the Year

Miranda Lambert took home the 2013 CMT Music Award of the Year for Performance of the Year for her rendition of 'Over You' at the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year show.

"This is great," she shared from the stage. "I didn't even know I was going to be up for that award. It's awesome to be at an Artist of the Year performance. Amazing performances. I got to sing 'Over You,' which is such a special song to me. I want to say thanks to my husband [Blake Shelton] who's a co-writer on that song. I appreciate you guys so much."

Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife, Beth Chapman, handed out the coveted trophy. This was Miranda's second time taking the stage at the 2013 CMT Music Awards. She previously performed her current single, 'Mama's Broken Heart.'
