Mickey Guyton is ready to share her music with her fans. The 31-year-old will release her self-titled EP on Capitol Records on May 26, just in time to kick off the summer season.

Guyton co-wrote two of the four tracks on the new project, including her first single, "Better Than You Left Me," which she co-wrote with Jennifer Hanson, Jenn Schott and Nathan Chapman. The song made history as the tune with the highest one-week add total on a debut release in the history of Country Aircheck, with 79 adds on the day of its release.

Earlier this year, the singer performed the song during her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, held at the Ryman Auditorium.

“I can’t believe I performed on the Ryman stage for my first Grand Ole Opry appearance,” Guyton gushes. “It’s been such an incredible journey to get to today, and I am so excited to share my first single and video with the world. I can’t thank country radio enough for being so kind to me and accepting of my music.”

Chapman also produced two of the songs on the new EP, with Dann Huff joining him to produce a third track. Luke Laird produced one song as well, "Somebody Else Will," which he co-wrote with Ashley Gorley and Hillary Lindsey.

Guyton will head out on the road this summer to serve as an opening act on Brad Paisley's 2015 Crushin' It World Tour, which kicks off on Friday night (May 15) in Philadelphia.
