One of the characters from ABC's 'Nashville' won't be returning to the show.

The last time fans saw producer Liam McGuinnis on the hit show, he was leaving to work with a new band, and it seems that will be the last time viewers will see the character.

Michiel Huisman, who plays McGuinnis, has traded in a guitar for a sword to portray Daario Naharis on HBO's 'Game of Thrones.' The role was played by another actor in season 3, but Huisman has taken over for the current fourth season and will become a regular cast member in season 5.

'Game of Thrones' is one of the most popular shows on TV, so the move could be a good one for Huisman. Unfortunately for 'Nashville' fans, that means they won't be seeing McGuinnis again on screen.

"No. I'm afraid I'm too busy," Huisman tells Vulture about returning to 'Nashville.'

New episodes of 'Nashville' begin airing on ABC on April 30. Hayden PanettiereCharles EstenClare BowenSam Palladio and Lennon & Maisy Stella recently appeared in 'Nashville: On the Record,' a TV special that aired on April 23.
