Go Behind the Scenes of Michael W. Smith’s Christmas Album with Country Stars [WATCH]
Christian singer Michael W. Smith has released a behind-the-scenes video for his new Christmas album featuring Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum and Vince Gill.
The country collaboration, titled ‘Michael W. Smith & Friends: The Spirit of Christmas,’ also features duets with Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Jennifer Nettles as well as appearances from Bono and Michael McDonald
“I think Nashville is home to some of the most talented people on Earth,” Smith says. “To get to sing with artists like Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Michael McDonald -- really, everyone on this album -- was such an honor.”
The album marks Smith's fourth holiday release, which he calls "the most unique and unusual record I’ve ever done in my 31-year career." He will be going on tour to support the release of the album this fall. A list of upcoming tour dates can be found here.
