The upcoming MerleFest festival just got a lot more star power. Old Crow Medicine Show have been added to the lineup, which already boasts more than 130 acts for the four-day event.

The band, who were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry last year, are playing MerleFest as part of their busy touring schedule for the first part of the year. In addition to hitting the road with the Avett Brothers, the group will also play a series of solo shows, including two dates at the Opry later this month.

Holly Williams will make her debut appearance at MerleFest, which will also include the event's first-ever BanjoRama, bringing together some of the top banjo players in the world onto one stage.

MerleFest will take place at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, N.C. April 24-27. Other artists appearing during the event include Alan Jackson, Steep Canyon Rangers, Jim Lauderdale, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Todd Snider. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase here.
