Martina McBride Theater Tour Is an Intimate Affair

Martina McBride was in Panama City Beach, Fla., Thursday night (April 12), for the first of several intimate theater performances giving the multi-platinum selling superstar -- who's just as at home on the arena stage -- the chance to engage more closely with fans.

"I believe the concert experience is about sharing," says the singer. "It's not just an artist up on stage singing songs for an audience. There has to be a connection for it to work ... for both of us. In an arena, I always feel like my mission is to keep people up on their feet all night. It's go, go, go! These theater shows are going to be more about making memories with my fans by giving them a special, intimate performance I hope they never forget."

In addition to favorite songs from each of her eleven studio albums, fans will be treated to the tales behind songs on the powerhouse performer's latest disc, Eleven, including "Marry Me," the romantic duet with Train's Pat Monahan.
