Martina McBride and Kelly Clarkson will soon kick off a four-city tour to benefit Musicians on Call.

The two vocalists' Rock the Room Tour is scheduled to begin on Oct. 21 in Nashville, at City Winery; additional stops are planned in New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. The tour will "raise awareness of the impact music has on healing, honor leaders in entertainment and philanthropy and raise funds for Musicians on Call," a non-profit organization that provides both live and recorded music to patients in healthcare facilities nationwide, according to a press release.

In addition to McBride and Clarkson, Reba McEntire will be making an appearance at the Music City show, along with other special guests who have yet to be revealed. In Nashville, the "Golden Ukulele" will be awarded to Warner Music Nashville's creative director, Shane Tarleton, in recognition of his music leadership and years of volunteer service with the charity group.

"Musicians on Call is truly an inspiring and wonderful organization," McBride tells Rolling Stone Country. "Shane is a dear friend, and I'm honored he asked me to be there on this special night, when we will celebrate his beautiful heart and generous spirit."

McBride released her latest album, Everlasting, last year and signed a new record deal with Nash Icon in December. She is feeding off of the energy of her new label to create new music.

“One thing I know is that it’s a really exciting time to be doing this,” McBride tells The Boot. “You know, we had a meeting the other day with the whole label, and it was like, there was so much positive energy and excitement in that room. It was like the old days: Everybody was just on 10, and there were all these great ideas floating around. It’s a very creative company.”

Clarkson is currently wrapping up her Piece By Piece Tour, which is slated to run through October. She also recently announced to a concert crowd that she is pregnant with her second child.
