Maren Morris was joined by former One Direction member Niall Horan for a live performance of their duet "Seeing Blind" at the 2017 CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday (Nov. 8). The song, penned by Morris, Horan and Jacquire King, appears on Horan's latest album, Flicker.

Morris opened her and Horan's performance with a few lines of her single "I Could Use a Love Song," then launched into "Seeing Blind." Backed by a full band, Horan played acoustic guitar throughout their performance.

"Oh my my, you just took me by surprise / And I can't believe my eyes / Oh, I must be seeing blind," goes the chorus of "Seeing Blind." "Oh no, I, you're too good to be all mine / Now I'm looking in your eyes / Oh, I must be seeing blind."

As the song ended and the camera panned away from the two artists, they could be seen smiling and celebrating together -- a performance well done.

Morris is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2017 CMA Awards; she's also up for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for another collaboration, her duet with Thomas Rhett, "Craving You." While Morris has been sharing some new music with fans lately, there's no word yet on the follow-up project to her 2016 debut release, Hero.
