Luke Bryan Wins Top Country Artist at 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Luke Bryan has taken home the 2014 Billboard Music Award for Top Country Artist.

"Thanks for this," a beaming Bryan said upon receiving his trophy. "Thank you all so much for this. We are honored to be here in this room tonight with so much talent. So many wonderful fans out there that keep us singing, keep us out on the road. All the artists I'm in the category with, thank you guys for pushing the envelope of country. My record label, my beautiful wife ... I love you, country radio. Thank you so much."

This was the Georgia native's second time to take the stage tonight. He previously joined Florida Georgia Line for a performance of their hit, 'This Is How We Roll.'

Bryan holds the most nominations of any country artist at the awards, with seven nods in six categories.
